Aesthetic dermatologists hold annual conference in Kuala Lumpur

11 Sep 2019

SINCE its inception in Thailand in 2014, the Aesthetic Dermatology Academy Conference, or ADAC, has been focused on being the most in-depth and scientific conference for Asian aesthetic practitioners.

ADAC’s core value is to disseminate scientific facts in an unbiased environment among speakers, audience and industries.

The 5th annual ADAC, held for the first time in Kuala Lumpur, saw the aesthetic medicine community gathering at Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur to hear insightful talks on a broad range of topics.

It featured three days of intensive back-to-back activities, from the Asia Pacific Cutera University Clinical Forum to an Ultherapy Asia Pacific Consensus Meeting followed by the ADAC World Congress.

ADAC scientific director Dr Lim Ting Song said they were thankful to fellow scientific directors Prof Woraphong Manuskiatti and Prof Rungsima Wanitphakdeedecha for the opportunity to bring the conference to Kuala Lumpur.

“We wish to convey our deepest appreciation to all the sponsors for making this happen and to all our friends and clients who had supported us from day one.”

Featuring speakers from all over the globe, this has been ADAC’s most diverse conference to date.

“Multiple experts in various fields came to speak and share their knowledge with junior and experienced aesthetic physicians.

“Whether it was to learn about an innovative treatment, discover a breakthrough technology or how to successfully run a thriving practice in the competitive market of aesthetic medicine, there was so much shared over two days, ” said Prof Woraphong.

The agenda included lectures, live demonstrations, hands-on workshops, panel discussions and Q&As led by world-leading specialists in lasers, energy-based devices, toxins, soft tissue fillers and other areas of aesthetic-based treatments.

Exhibitors also showcased the latest technologies in the market.

“This year’s ADAC conference was successful and beyond our wildest dreams. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or better patrons, ” said Prof Rungsima.

The 5th annual Aesthetic Dermatology Academy Conference was the most diverse to date.
